KOB-TV in Albuquerque is hiring a sales account executive. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:  Sell television schedules and digital media to local accounts and/or advertising agencies using available sales tools.  Conduct sales and service calls.  Prospect and develop new business.  Prepare proposals and presentations.  Meet revenue goals.  Maintain good working relationships with clients, local agencies, station management and station’s sales department.  Area of concentration will be the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years local market media sales experience.  Aggressive self-starter and skilled closer. Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.  Proven track record in new business and non-traditional revenue development.  Ability to listen and communicate ideas effectively.  This is a full-time commission position.  Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile. Knowledge of WideOrbit, Nielsen, Matrix a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job functions. Work requires extensive around town driving to service accounts and prospect for new business.
