KOB-TV in Albuquerque is hiring a video editor. Responsibilities will include editing television news stories that meet a journalistic standard of accuracy, balance and ethics, as well as operating Beta videotape decks/digital NLE editing equipment and Mac/Windows computer software.
Applicants should have at least a year of experience editing videotape for daily newscasts or related field and must proficient knowledge of Beta SX editing equipment, and some experience with Final Cut Pro and AVID is also helpful. They should have a strong understanding of television news and production. Some prior shooting experience as a photographer is helpful.
