This website was launched in WordPress last year using an available template created by a programmer in Germany. It was a quick and efficient way to get the site started. The template served its purpose, but I was never really happy with the appearance, and in particular the bright red headlines.

Now, as you can see, I’ve created a special masthead that features our Chapter logo, plus the National SPJ logo. And, the screaming red headlines are gone, too. The basic layout and functions of the site have not changed, and at least for the time being I kept the buttons across the top that link to archived page categories.

There is a comments function for this and all other posts. To add your 2¢, just click at the upper right where it says “No Comments” (or if there already are comments, it will say how many). Hope to hear from you.

Now if I can figure out how to make the posting dates appear in U.S. rather than European format (day/month/year)…. Hmmm, it’s hard-coded in there somewhere. Anybody got a suggestion?
